Yesterday around 9am a taxi driver came to my door saying a taxi had been booked in my name to take me to the city centre. I don't even have a phone so can't phone to book one! Around 20 min later 3 taxis each a different company pulled up outside the house. Pointed here and drove off after 2 minutes
This morning the same, 2 different taxis pulled up but didn't go any further. A further 2 more just minutes ago, the guy who arrived after the first taxi said to him "just leave. I got the same call for this house but nobody answers"
I don't want my house being black listed! How can I find out if something Sinister is going on!

Can you ask the taxi company who's booking them? Or at least tell them it isn't you so they don't 'blacklist' your house

Taxis save the phone number that has called them so i think it'll be the phone number that gets black listed rather than your address.

As so many cabs are turning up it dies look like someone is playing silly buggers.

I would say give the cabs a ring and explain but you say you have no phone so you couldnt call a cab if you wanted to??

It sounds like someone is doing prank calls - do you know anyone who has a juvenile sense of humour and might want to annoy you? I'd definitely try and call the taxi company and try to find out who is booking these taxis.

I'd contact the taxi companies see if they can shed any light, definitely sounds like a prank caller, you don't have any problems with anyone lately do you, an ex for example? Although still that does seem weird

Prank calls. Hope you can get it sorted out... maybe arrange a password with the cab companies so they know when it's a genuine call?

Someone isn't giving you a surprise lunch or something?
