Ok so a quick sorry it's my birthday today I haven't spoken to my mother in a long time she made up story's about her father abusing her at a young age which she now says never happened. She went to the police to get me arrested for black mail and assault which never happened. She just a total compulsive lier.
So I got a mock on the door and there she was with a card handed it to me then left in side it says "happy birthday I won't be round for the next one I have a death warrant they are going to kill me all my love mam" I really don't believe anything she says I just don't no... She's made so much up and caused a lot of pain to many people do I ignore it and leave it as it is I'm stumped 🤔

Who's they? Does she have a MH diagnosis? Sounds like paranoid delusions

Either ignore it because she's attention seeking or ..

If you think she may be mentally unwell then try and get her the help she needs?

It sounds like she has some serious MH issues going on. Has she ever been diagnosed with anything eg paranoid schizophrenia? Is there anyone else in the family you could ask to urge her to seek help (appreciate you don't want to get too close again)? Failing that, could you let social services know you're concerned about her welfare?

Back to the card - I wouldn't reply, personally, but I would try the above to get her help. Happy birthday, by the way

She sounds ill

She has depression but she's drinking slot and takes some drugs I have no clue who" they "are I fryer getting her help before it took a lot of doing and I was pregnant at the time.
Due to her lies and storys none of the family talk haven't done for 6+ years I'm just not sure what to do she looked like she's not washed in weeks and is very skinny she has a eating disorderbu looking at her she is under 6stone in weight... I feel awful for her but I have to young children both of which she advised me of neglect and abuse towards I just don't no

I would contact your family and suggest they make sure she seeks help. . But honestly I am nc with my dm and she isn't as bad as your sounds. Step back and put yourself and dc first.

Sounds like drugs or serious MH

I would report her to adult social services because she sounds like she needs some help fast!
