On 23/08/17 I placed an order with a retailer online for some drinkware bits. The order arrived 29/08/17 with someone else’s order & invoice. None of my items in the box.

I sent their customer service photos of the incorrect items I received, the other persons invoice and let them know. After many emails back and forth with their frustrating customer service, on 11/09/17 they finally offered me a refund or replacement order.

I asked for a refund as the items that I had purchased have since sold out on their website....they couldn’t physically send me my order anymore. Their online store is ceasing operation in October so they have had a massive sale with only a few items left on their website.

They responded and said that they have arranged a collection of the incorrect items and once received, will refund me. (Their warehouse is based in Belgium.)

Well two weeks on, I still haven’t received my original order/a refund/nor have they come to collect my items. Their courier company has not been in touch.

AIBU in thinking that they should just refund me at this point? I’m seeing this as two separate issues:

  1. They haven’t fulfilled my actual order placed on 23/08/17
  2. They haven’t come to collect their incorrect/unsolicited goods

What do you think?
I know it’s only £50 but I’m so annoyed that I’m going around in circles with them.

How did you pay? If by card can you not instruct a chargeback?

I paid with my debit card Sad
