This is how we should all do it:

Can you imagine if this had played out on MN Grin

That's ridiculous it just says the car was parked on the road, not obstructing access to property/ a drive. It pisses me off when people think they have the right to the road outside their house. It's a public road so anybody can park there. If there is the expectation to park outside the front door then in that case they need a drive

CaffeineBomb · 22/09/2017 20:10

Although I see why parking there and buggering off on holiday is taking the piss a bit

balsamicbarbara · 22/09/2017 20:34

Quite clever though and a possible suggestion on some of the car wars threads around here. If done properly this won't cause any damage so no criminal damage issues to worry about..

FittonTower · 22/09/2017 20:39

I don't understand the rage at not being able to park outside your house. If it's that important to you get a house with a drive, not some fucking cling film and a sad face article in the local paper.

SpareChangeDownTheSofa · 22/09/2017 20:43

CaffieneBomb Yeah, I think its more the fact that they parked there where there isn't much parking and then buggered off on holiday. They got free parking and a cheaper taxi by being close to the airport.

Just the idea of wrapping it in clingfilm is hilarious to me!

Why would he want to advertise to the whole world that he's a twatty scumbag?

peppykoala · 22/09/2017 21:17

My neighbour did this to someone who parked in their disabled space! The council clamped & towed it in the end, I was sad that I didn't get to see the CF come back to their cling-filmed car... I did get to see lots of people slowing down to take pictures of it though, it was quite the talking point.

balsamicbarbara · 22/09/2017 22:25

Good to hear that. Can't believe the cheek of people parking on roads where they don't live Shock

AtHomeDadGlos · 22/09/2017 22:53

It's a public road with no parking restrictions. As long as the car is MOTd, taxes and insured there's nothing wrong or illegal.

The house owner is a prick.

Ttbb · 22/09/2017 22:56

Surely he would have been better off petitioning the council to introduce residents permits or parking restrictions?
