Building work at work noise is killing me

Work for family business on reception the desk can’t be moved. they are doing building work on the shop behind my desk on the wall between me and the shop. I can only hear drills or hammering what can I do.

Put a note on the reception desk to ask visitors to call you in another room far far away?

They have to pay here no other room it’s like a reception to an attraction and gift shop

Have you asked how long it's going to go on for? Can you erect a small tent/awning outside the entrance and move the reception outside?
