Mine is cripplingly low and I despise how I look.

Any tried and tested methods?

'Overcoming Low Self-Esteem' by Melanie Fennell would be a good book to try. What does your inner critic sound like? Whose voice is it? Learn to recognise it when it pipes up. Now think of a compassionate voice - what would it sound like, what would it look like (person, animal eg St Bernard, an old wise oak tree - you get the drift). When you spot your inner critic, get ready to call it out on its criticising ways, what would your compassionate voice say? (No ifs, no buts, no rejecting compliments, no self-blame, but also firmly leaving you with the responsibility for your own actions - compassion is not a get out of jail free card). Practice this?

I'm so sorry to hear that you feel like this OP Flowers I'm watching with interest, if that's okay, as I also struggle with low self-esteem.
