It's one of my sons carers, I know his main carer really well as we stop and chat a fair bit but his second carer not so much (( theyre a male couple, my son receives 2 / 1 care )) his partner is there as back up mainly in case there's an incident.

Anyways, his birthday's coming up and I always send a party in a bag for his main carer (( cake, party hat, blowers etc )) and a gift but have no idea what to get his partner.

I'm rubbish at present buying 😭😭😭

What do you normally buy the main carer?

Cinema voucher? Voucher for a meal out (Ask, Pizza Express etc)

Last time I got him.something personalised with something him and ds had done. (( a funny pic with a qoute )) and some flowers.

This one's harder, he has a love of hideous tshirts which is a bit of a running joke, other than that I dont know much of anything.

Budget really cant stretch to anything huge, I usually try and get something cheapish but quirky and that reflects whoever im.buying for. In theory.

Why can't you just do the same.
It's the thought that counts not the amount you spend.

Nice mug and hot chocolate
Nice beers in a presentation pack
Something relaxing for bathtime?

I don't even know if he drinks !! Or what, think I might have to stalk his partners facebook..... I know him on a professional level quite well as in he comes to meetings regarding my son but not other than that.

Is he close with your son? I ask as I worked with children and some of my favourite presents were pictures they had drawn and framed for me. I also had a canvas tote bag that two children I babysit for made for me and they drew round their hands and wrote on the other side "thank you love Betty and John"

He's there more as back up Britt, the bulk of the work falls down to his main carer, so long as ds is stable then all is fine. DS likes him but very much sees his main carer as ' his'. Ive just had a facebook stalk and spotted a pic of him drinking gin so that could be a good one.
