Awww. Someone has put a lot of time and effort into it, though.

Incitatis · 15/09/2017 10:33

If it was done by a class of seven year olds I'd say "well done", if it was done by a professional artist I'd cringe.

Sandsunsea · 15/09/2017 10:34

Good likeness is say!

SunSeptember · 15/09/2017 10:34

Its school children who created it!

SaucyJack · 15/09/2017 10:34

Looks like it was done by this bloke.

keepthenoisedown17 · 15/09/2017 10:35

😂😂😂😂

missiondecision · 15/09/2017 10:35

Appealing. I've seen the image a few times now and laugh everytime. It's hideous, but makes an impression. Isn't that the point of art?

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 15/09/2017 10:36

Fancy criticising work done by school children.

SpikeGilesSandwich · 15/09/2017 10:40

Brilliant! That should definitely be the official portrait of Diana to go in the history books. Grin

MissionItsPossible · 15/09/2017 10:41

Was it done by school children? The article I read said it had been done by 'volunteers'. If it was by school children I'd have thought they would have specifically mentioned it. Sorry to any children if they did make it though!

opheliacat · 15/09/2017 10:42

It is horrible. Why are children even doing a tribute? They were not even born then!

macncheesewithbacon · 15/09/2017 10:43

It's what she would have wanted 😂

VivaNoLikey · 15/09/2017 10:44

Is it after the crash?

ForagingForFaerieGold · 15/09/2017 10:46

Hahaha. That's awesome!

Serialweightwatcher · 15/09/2017 10:47

Well they have tried Hmm but I'm sure she would have had a good laugh about it bless her

SomewhatIdiosyncratic · 15/09/2017 10:49

It's a well dressing isn't it? So it's made of natural materials pushed into clay which will have limits on how realistic it could look.

It was kindly intended as she visited the town and they wanted to pay tribute to that.

pennysnow · 15/09/2017 10:51

Fuck me! Shock

It looks like something out of the horror film 'IT!'

To think this is not a tribute and looks hideous!!
squoosh · 15/09/2017 10:52

It reminds me of this.

user1480334601 · 15/09/2017 10:55

Squoosh that was my first thought too Grin

Must have got the same artist in

blackteasplease · 15/09/2017 10:57

Well it's not great but it's the thought that counts!

CaptainMarvelDanvers · 15/09/2017 10:58

Isn't it made out of petals?

OhThisbloodyComputer · 15/09/2017 11:00

This is my picture of The Nativity, drawn in grass seeds

(Took me ages to plant them.)

OK, I know its terrible, but it's the thought

To think this is not a tribute and looks hideous!!
ILikeyourHairyHands · 15/09/2017 11:02

It is made out of petals, it's for one of the well-dressings in Derbyshire which is a lovely tradition.

I've seen better efforts by my children's primary school though (we are in Derbyshire and they make one too).

SparklyMagpie · 15/09/2017 11:02

Yeah I read it was made by volunteers and is a well dressing.

Its the teeth that get me Grin makes me smile though

Squoosh Thank you for making my morning! That picture still makes me cry laughing an reminds me of the portrait of whistler's mother in Mr Bean, infact I think I'm going to set it as my phone wallpaper for when I'm feeling like shit Grin

squoosh · 15/09/2017 11:12

That Spanish woman taking herself off to the church to 'improve' Jesus' face is one of my favourite ever things!
