So I posted where a little while ago about ss contacting my children's school due to threats my ex partner has made about me (he was sectioned at the time and has some form of mental health) anyway today I am home feeding the baby. I am upstairs and my older children are downstairs, I hear a mans voice so rush downstairs. A man and a woman are standing at my door. They tell me my ex has been released and they just want to warn me incase he shows up! When I asked who they were (weren't dressed in police uniform) they said they were detectives! Anyone have any experience of this kind of thing? I'm quite worried now as although I don't think he will show up Detectives make me think it must be very serious. Why release him if he is still a danger? Sorry if that's a silly question just know nothing about this kind of thing.
