Citizens Advice assessment day tests

Posting for traffic - sorry!

I've got an assessment day coming up for an Advisor role at a Citizens Advice Bureau, and have just been told that it involves a few tests: IT and research, maths and English.

Any ideas about what sort of things the tests might involve please? Particularly worried about the IT and numeracy ones!

Thanks :)

IT and research will be checking that you can answer a few questions by looking things up on their citizensadvice.org.uk website. If you can google something you'll pass this.

Maths and English will again be pretty basic. Adding and subtracting, what's this benefit rate added to this benefit rate, etc. Nothing difficult. For English I had to write a paragraph about what I did on holiday, if you can manage that without too many grammar problems and spelling mistakes you'll be fine.

Thanks so much Hont :) it looks like the tests will be geared towards the tasks that advisers will have to do in their day-to-day work then.

If anyone else has any more advice or tips, please send them my way :)
