I get sucked in by the adverts old Emma what a her face (married to Busted bloke, presents big brother) and her fabulous legs advertising all those lovely womanly looking razors.

Tried one for a while now, used an Olay blade and tried a new "Spa" blade but they're just so cheap leaving bumps and lumps all over my legs like a cheap bic would BUT they're not cheap!! AIBU to throw them all out and start again??

YanbuGrin I use men's Lidl range of razors job done and the whole pack last me about 6 months to a year for about £3.

WeirdnessOfDoom · 12/09/2017 22:16

Wilkinson quattro with repleacable razors. Recommended by a friend saying "most razors for women are crap". She was right.

SuzukiLi · 12/09/2017 22:17

The Venus Olay one is the only one I can use that doesn't give me bumps

MrTrebus · 12/09/2017 22:18

I used to use Mach3 til they got ridiculously expensive but at least they were pretty decent. Seriously @HungerOfThePine are they actually good??

DH bought me one of those old fashioned ones with the replaceable blade because he said he was ashamed of my ancient plastic one! More impressed than I thought I would be and less damage than I thought! Plus I never run out of blades because I can steal DH's Grin

AlwaysNeedTea · 12/09/2017 22:27

This is why I've only ever used mens razors

KarateKitten · 12/09/2017 22:28

I only use men's,

HungerOfThePine · 12/09/2017 22:34

I don't have any issues with them op had good old shaving session today and quite pleased with them, don't have any bumps or a shave rash and never any cuts..its Not their bic version but their disposable blade that come with about 20 odd heads.
They are very good for under arms as I shave them every couple days and legs every week or so.

There is probably better but more expensive than the brand I use out there ofcourse.
I defaulted to them as I would stare blankly at the razor shelves in Tesco for a few minutes and resented paying £'s for something that wouldn't last very long.

Demilouise96 · 12/09/2017 22:39

I use the Lidl one just like a men's Gillette but a lot cheaper it's branded shark and it's amazing you it's about £5 you get a head with it then you can buy a set of I think five heads for £3/4 I swear by this

NotACleverName · 12/09/2017 22:53

Men's razors are the way forward.

MrTrebus · 13/09/2017 06:52

I'm going to Lidls today!! Thanks all !

That's funny, I used to use a women's razor on my face before I grew a beard! It was much better than my mach3

dudsville · 13/09/2017 07:02

I have only used Venus razors for yrs now. Tried expensive/cheap/mens, Venus does it for me.

LoniceraJaponica · 13/09/2017 07:04

Another Venus fan here as well.

Louiselouie0890 · 13/09/2017 07:10

Only use mens. Women's are awful

ASqueakingInTheShrubbery · 13/09/2017 07:15

I've been using Gillette Mach3 since my stepdad had one for Christmas when I was a teen - he uses an electric so it would have gone to waste otherwise. Much better than the flimsy pink crap marketed to blades last ages and remove hair without cutting me.
