Camembert

There's a pungent piece of camembert in our communal work fridge. Is the owner of the camembert being unreasonable to keep it there? Should I send an email to all staff regarding said cheese?

For some reason I thought this was a baby name threadGrin

KarateKitten · 12/09/2017 16:49

No. It's Camembert, a.k.a food. It's also in the correct location. If it is gone off then you can complain. But otherwise I'd get over it. It's just food.

Bertie for a nickname, love it tiger

OP they ABVVVVU. Smelly cheeses are not for office fridges. Ought to be a disciplinary offence.

Potterhead113 · 12/09/2017 16:52

I'd say death penalty for that

KindergartenKop · 12/09/2017 16:52

I was actually thinking Cammie for a nickname.

I like the cheese but I'm wary of work fridges and I was trying to find out what was rotten when I realised what was smelling.

Oh god don't be one of those people who make every thing their business and send all-staff emails about mundane crap. 'Someone left the tap on in the toilets for the first time in the two hundred years I've been here. Please don't do this again or I'll be forced to send other stupid pointless emails to make me feel important'.

They are however being unreasonable for not eating it yet, I love Camembert!

I made the mistake of asking DS if he'd like to try my Camembert in a restaurant. He polished the bloody lot off! Smile

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 12/09/2017 17:04

I can't keep camembert long enough at home for it to stink out my fridge, DS nicks it every time. I would consider keeping it at work (but in a Tupperware- what sort of animal doesn't keep cheese in a box)?

I think Brie has the tang of semen but I love a baked Camembert

ShesNoNormanPace · 12/09/2017 17:18

Camembert? There's Camembert?

That's the best description of Brie that I have ever read.

I want a Camembert now.

AndNoneForGretchenWieners · 12/09/2017 17:27

happy i agree, with French brie. I do like a nice Somerset brie though.
