My 2y9mo daughter often makes references to me being a baby and how she used to look after me....

"I used to cuddle you when you were a baby didn't I mummy"

"When you were a baby I used to bath you"

"I loved you when you were a baby mummy"

That's clear evidence of my granny or auntie reincarnated right?!!!

My DD says this all the time, no deceased relatives she could have previously been. She is just talking about what she knows, being cuddled etc.
She also says there are dinosaurs in the cupboards and unicorns in the garden....

She's getting her pronouns reversed. She's talking about you loving her etc.... If it comforts you to think about reincarnation, fine. It's just a bit of a burden to. Place upon a child.

Aaah this stuff creeps me out, although yes pp is correct she has got her pronouns reversed

This just sounds like normal toddler chitchat to me. She knows that she used to be a baby and that babies are cuddled and looked after, so she's just making stuff up about you being a baby once too - as PPs have said, she's just talking about stuff that she knows and applying it to you.

Also worth remembering that kids that age often can't really tell the difference between things that have actually happened and things they've dreamt. At that age my nephew 100% believed he had seen animals like lions and rhinos in the garden and that he had 'driven grandad's car to Tesco' and was really aggrieved at any suggestion these things had never happened.
