To ask do you ever cry during sex?

This is a really weird one and something I'm not comfortable admitting to friends so wondered if anyone had similar experience.

Great sex life with DH and we always try out several positions in a session. BUT during "doggy" position I always feel like I'm going to cry. I have absolutely no idea why, doesn't happen in any other position and it's driving me crazy as to why?

I have no history of sexual abuse and absolutely I can think what triggers this. Can someone explain this to me? Because I'm baffled!

Sometimes I cry if I have a really intense orgasm?!

Not sure at all but perhaps it's something to do with not having face to face contact to give you emotional security?

When you say you feel like you're going to cry, do you mean that you suddenly feel upset or scared and that makes you want to cry? Or do you just cry without any negative emotions? I think some women do just get overwhelmed with the heat of the moment and cry because of that, just as a physical thing and not because they're in any way upset - but if you actually suddenly feel upset or disgusted or frightening in a particular position, that would be different.

I cry in one particular position too, and don't know why. I'm enjoying myself, really into it, and then the tears and sobbing start.

We've started avoiding that position now.

I've also cried during sex for other reasons- just very emotional or going through a difficult time or whatever.

It's probably hitting a nerve!

I often cry after sex, no idea why! Never cry after a diy job! Not during though.

Dh you think you're crying because you feel vulnerable/ scared/ other negative feelings? Or is it more just overly emotional?

I don't feel upset - but you know when your about to cry and your face screws up, I do that (sexy!) and if I didn't stop myself I would actually sob!! For no reason!

It just baffles me that it's only in doggy!

I sometimes get over emotional and a bit teary when we're cuddling right after and I think about just how much I love him

...but then we're newlyweds so I'm sure in a few years I'll be rushing to put my nighty back on before one of us rolls over and starts farting

I've cried during sex. I cried a few times with my ex-DP whom I loved very very much when things were just so full on lovely, when we hit a rough patch but there was still lots of love and when we were about to be apart for a couple of months. They were intense moments and extreme joy and upset came out that way.

I've also cried on my ex FWB when I realised my feelings were stronger than originally thought, knew it probably wasn't mutual but we were having a rather tender moment! He didn't notice

I feel hot behind the eyes in that position too. No idea why!

Naomi Wolf's vagina book is pretty terrible for the most part, but she has a section where she explains this! Something to do with g spots and nerve endings, I think.

No I haven't, but if that happens I'd avoid that position if I were you. It doesn't sound pleasant!

That happened to me once. It was in doggy and we were being quite energetic, it wasn't painful but it was intense and right after I felt like crying. It wasn't very pleasant.

Never during, but I have had an "emotional release" type cry on occasion after seriously intense orgasms.
