For wanting my neighbour to not use power tools outside after 9 pm at night

Our neighbour is awful, he is doing some kind of builidng work and has been using a noisy cutter of some description outside at night till at least 10 some nights. Its not like its the only chance he can get as he gets home from work about 4 ish and doesn't start till about 8 pm, this is just a long line of things that the guy does to wind all the neighbours up, he has 3 vehicles, 1 large car, 1 works can and a huge pick up type vehicle, he parks his cars outside his house and along, and leaves massive spaces, just too small for another car, he drives oe out the space, then leave it in the middle of the road while he gets into another one and moves it so no-one else can park, and then drives off, he does this when coming home, parks in middle of road while he gets out and moves his other one back and parks, his vehicles takes up the space of just under 5 houses. once another car managed to fit in between a space he had left in a small fiesta, but he was so annoyed he got out and moved his other cars so they were just 1cm away from the bumper, which meant they couldn't get out, when they knocked and politely asked to move he said nah been drinking, this was 10 am in the morning, he slammed the door. This is so not the type of man that you would want to approach, the houses are full of families with little kids, and this man is a vile nasty bully. When you write the things down what he goes up too, it doesn't sound like much, but he really annoys up. Rant Over lol

Thing is, if all the vehicles are taxed the authorities won't be interested. He sounds like an arsehole. He should watch that someone doesn't put sharp tacks in the road that burst the tyres on all his vehicles. That would be a shame.

Keep a diary of when he uses his tools at inappropriate times, make a recording of the noise if possible and then submit a complaint to Environmental Health.

lol Kbear, i would never do that, but I do have the urge which I resist to shove a banana up his exhaust.

No, I wouldn't either but I love planning revenge attacks that I would never carry out! I have an evil mind.

My neighbour sings (or at least tries too, could be mistaken for a cat in pain!) at stupid o clock at night. Wakes my dd of 2yrs up. Drives me nuts. We have had many arguments! But because she owns and we rent then she thinks she is better than us and complains to our landlord all the time! Who can we complain to about her waleling??!! No-one!!
Neighbours are a big fat pain in the bum

dionnelorraine · 04/04/2007 09:22
