To be worried!

Me again, the emetophobe!
My husband has just given my son some melon from a pre cut pack with grapes. I came downstairs (after, ironically doing some self hypnosis for my phobia) and had a bit of melon. It tasted a bit weird, and smelled a bit weird. Not massively, just a bit. The use by date isn't until 8 Sept, but it tasted weird! IABU to worry right??

You only need to worry about getting a doctors appointment to deal with your anxiety, not a bit of melon or grape. I say that kindly as I know what anxiety feels like

Posters shouldn't get into safe melon with you ... it's not the issue. It'll be a prawn next week or something

Try and deal with the root cause

But, to reassure you, the melon is fine. The melon would do you no harm if it was three weeks old. However it wouldn't taste too good

Nicely put Frankie.
