Not sure where else to post this.
DD went into year 5 today, loves school, couldn't wait to go back. Seemed fine when I picked her up today, but this evening we have had tears as all the classes have been mixed up (by no means a bad thing) and all her friends are in different classes. Consequently DD had no-one to go to lunch with, a girl whom she had a made an agreement with at the end of last term to be best friends with went with someone else.
I know it's only the first day, I tried to reassure her that it will be fine and that she will make new friends - anyone else had this today?
