Hi, we had a takeaway this evening. He said that I could eat the rice as he doesn't want to pick at it later. There was an onion bhaji left and he offered it to me at dinner, and I said no thanks I have my own.

A few hours later, I nicked the bhaji, he moaned saying that was his and he wanted it??? If he didn't want to pick at the rice, why would he want to pick at the bhaji?? Plus, he offered it to me at dinner.

WIBU?

He should have made it clear if he was saving it for later, otherwise it's fair game leftovers.

PuntasticUsername · 04/09/2017 21:28

Given he'd offered you the bhaji at dinner, he should have been more clear if he'd changed his mind about saving it for himself for later.

PeppaPigTastesLikeBacon · 04/09/2017 21:28

Bhaji was his. You turned it down!

I would have rathered the rice so really it's all his fault

Birdsgottafly · 04/09/2017 21:31

It's terrible when you think there's food that you've decided to eat still about and then find out that it's gone, so I sympathise with your DH.

You'd refused it, so should have checked before eating it.

RhubardGin · 04/09/2017 21:33

If you didn't have a pashwari naan YABU!

Manclife · 04/09/2017 21:34

Rice isn't in the same league an OB! So YABU Grin

Though my wife nicks stuff off my plate all the time so I'm used to it.

Cupoteap · 04/09/2017 21:40

Photocopy any pension and banking details immediately- you know what you have to do.

Shoxfordian · 04/09/2017 21:44

Are you both 13?

Manclife · 04/09/2017 21:45

@FizzyGreenWater

That sounded like a kill order for an assassin!Shock

MargaretTwatyer · 04/09/2017 21:48

Is it worth the fight? Is there really any need for this sort of argy-bhaji over it?

HelloBigWorld · 04/09/2017 21:49

Bang out of order. You are DBU.

jaseyraex · 04/09/2017 21:49

YABU. Always order enough food for leftovers breakfast.

GlitterGlue · 04/09/2017 21:51

You're both unreasonable.

Onion bhajis are vile.

JemmyBloocher · 04/09/2017 21:53

The Outrage. Poor bastard. What kind of woman half inches her man's bhaji?

Bluntness100 · 04/09/2017 22:09

So you ate yours and then his too, without telling him and after declining it and saying you only wanted yours? That's unreasonable. I'd be pissed at you Grin

SaucyJack · 04/09/2017 22:15

Depends. YABU if you flat-out robbed it off of his plate. But anything left in the generic bag in the fridge in fair game IMO.

Maybe get him to stick a post-it note to it next time?

TheNaze73 · 04/09/2017 22:19

You should have told him it'd had fallen out of a Greggs back & got the shop to replace it Wink

TheNaze73 · 04/09/2017 22:20

Bag even. Awarding myself a Biscuit

Winosaurus · 04/09/2017 22:46
