To change my mind about this colour for table?

Bought an old dining table the other day & with dh spent ages picking an oak coloured stain for it.

However, now I've spent half the day sanding off the old varnish I think it's better left natural & oiled even if it's a waste of a tin of wood stain.

So MN, leave it lighter or go darker? Legs will be a cream colour to match new kitchen

Leave it, it looks beautiful just the way it is

It looks beautiful as it is. It'd still look good stained darker too.

Good! Leaving it is one less step to getting it finished too & I can always use the stain down the line if needs be, cheers 😃
