Was amazed when I read that John Lewis are doing genderless clothes for kids - is their really such a demand for this??

It's not genderless. There will still be pink frilly clothes with ballerinas on. There will still be jumpers with dinosaurs or diggers on. They just aren't saying the former is for girls and the latter is for boys. They are for whoever wants to buy them.

As I wish I could reply to everybody who I've seen say this on Facebook today, there is a difference between gender neutral (all clothes are the same and suit any gender), and just not gender stereotyping (a range of clothes and kids can pick which they want).

YABratherU to start another thread about this, when there's a very active one running right now.

All they are doing is changing the display of some items. Uniform, swimwear and underwear are already displayed by function; this will just be doing the same so all jumpers, Tshirts, trousers etc are together.

I think its a good idea to have similar stuff together.

Yep I didn't realise sorry - how do I get this one removed?
