I've had 3 today. Some companies must have decided on 1st September being a good date to start mentioning the C word

I hate them. I don't particularly like Christmas, my partner was always ill after Christmas, and I came to dread it.

We are in a strange world. My local pub has put in santa plus snowman plus reindeers at the door with an invitation to book for Xmas lunch - only £49.99 per head. Sept 1 seems to be the day these things start.

Wake me up in January. The miserable months of tat drive me nuts.
