Posting here for traffic as I have a nose problem, and wanted quick answers
Yesterday and today my nose occasionally has been making this long winded creaking type sound and then a pop it's extremely painful when this happens. Happened after I sneezed today and the noise and build up went on for a long time before the pop. Now I have what feels like pressure behind right eye, it's uncomfortable and my vision feels clouded but without actually being if that makes sense.
My first thought is sinus infection but I've had them before it's just this funny noise and nose popping that's freaking me out.
My nose isn't blocked at all infact the opposite feels very dry.

Your sinuses are congested, that's all. Happens to me all the time.

The popping and the pain? It's extremely painful. I've had so many sinus infections in the past and this is the first time I've experienced this.
My nose is already a bit dodgy from breaking it twice a couple of years back.

The popping and cracking noises are due to the pressure in your sinuses shifting. Yes, it's painful but it's not dangerous. It's totally normal.

I promise your head will not explode. Get some sinus decongestants. My sinuses seem to be sensitive to barometric pressure, so when it fluctuates, my sinuses will act up. Sometimes the popping and cracking are painful, sometimes not.

So you're suffering extreme pain, uncomfortable pressure behind your eye and it's causing it you to have cloudy vision and you're thanking a random user on MN instead of seeing your GP? Really?

It's Friday evening. Not cloudy vision like cloudy vision, if it makes no sense that's fine. Aqua answered what I needed to know. I fully except iabu no problem. Question answered.
