Booking.com - Pool / Wifi

I just want to have a rant!

Searched for a holiday on booking.com and we specified the 2 main things we wanted a pool and wifi - and when we got to the holiday we find those things cost extra !! 90 flaming euros extra!! this was because we booked with an owner and not the park itself - there was no way of knowing that this was the case before

i have tried contacting them every day, i have had 2?3?replies saying they are looking in to it - then i got a mail saying the site now states paid wifi (shame i took a screenshot)

Social media is always a winner.. maybe try there?

I don't understand Confused

It says the pool costs extra, and that WiFi is only free in public places. Lots of hotels provide it for free in lobbies/restaurants/bars but not in the rooms, to encourage you to sit in the bar and buy things to use the internet!

Unless you couldn't get online at all without paying?

dertyyuoih2 · 31/08/2017 20:50

The pool is free the ad says, just the indoor one you pay for. And internet says it's free in public areas, my understanding is that they wanted an additional €90 for access to these services?

BookingComComplaint · 31/08/2017 20:51

the indoor pool cost more, i was ok with that because the other pool didnt need an extra charge

but there was only one pool (grandly called a water park - trust me, one slide does not make a water park - we were going to spend a day at the 'water park' when we booked it, but when we saw it.....)

I'd keep messaging booking.com until they respond with the ad attached!
