Just that really.

Am v over weight so I assume that would have an affect on how soon I feel baby move? This is also my second pregnancy.

Am only just 19 weeks today but fretting.

Please share when you felt baby move

Never felt mine til after the 20 week scan!!

Babyblues14 · 31/08/2017 16:26

They usually tell you on your 20 week scan where your placenta is. I had an anterior placenta and felt nothing until 24 weeks.

EdmundCleverClogs · 31/08/2017 16:32

I was exactly the same both pregnancies. Both transpired to be anterior placenta, though did start feeling flutters a couple of days before my 20 week scan this time (was certainly later last pregnancy). Everyone's different, though having an AP makes things slightly more stressful as after 24 weeks have to be extra vigilant in feeling for kicks. Have you tried lying on your side and drinking very cold water?

Ilikesweetpeas · 31/08/2017 16:37

Didn't feel mine until about 22 weeks. I was quite worried but then once I started to feel movements I was kicked constantly until 37 weeks!!

Between 22 and 23 weeks. I'm another one with anterior placenta.

I had a MW appointment at 21+6 during which baby moved while MW was listening to the heartbeat and I didn't feel a thing. She said it wasn't a concern unless I wasn't feeling anything by 24 weeks.

Thank you all!

My memory is terrible so I can't remember how far along I was with my first

Another anterior placenta here - didn't feel a thing until 24 weeks or so. I was terrified going into my 20 week scan but DS was bouncing around, I just couldn't feel it.

I think I was about 20-21 weeks with both.

northernbobbydazzler · 31/08/2017 17:13

It's only at 26 weeks I feel regular movements, few flutters around 22 weeks I think (2nd DC)

MsVestibule · 31/08/2017 17:33

At least 23 weeks with DC1, can't remember with DC2! Even then, they were only little fluttering. She just wasn't an active baby - I was never hoofed in the ribs like a lot of women are!
