To think this is a bit odd

So I have someone who I vaguely know as a Facebook friend, they aren't someone I know in real life very well at all but for some reason the algorithm of Facebook means I see her posts a lot.

And she posts as her baby.

As in she pretends to be her baby when she writes her status, her baby is about 18 months now. I suppose I could almost understand it when she was very little and she was doing things for the first time but she posts things like 'today I threw toast at the cat' and it makes me do a double take every time I see it.
It is not a profile for her baby, it's her profile, she just pretends to be her baby.
When will that end? Will she be doing it when the baby is 18?

Is this a thing?

Grin

Yanbu.

She's bonkers. I would subtly unfollow...

There was a poster here who used to do that, threads called "Today I went to the library with mummy" etc. She got flamed every time and eventually stopped.

Unfollow her?

I find it really hard to give a shit about what other people post on social media. If it bothers you that much just unfollow her.

I have a friend who does exactly the same on fb. It's just weird!
