Specifically on social media photos.

"Swit-swoo!!"
"whitawiw nice dress :-) "
"wit-a-woo sexy lady"

Totally irrational, makes me want to punch them! Anyone else?!

Never ever seen anyone write like that!

sashimiyummies · 28/08/2017 20:52

Thought it was switswoo. Never seen with a woo.

cardibach · 28/08/2017 20:52

I see 'wit woo' as a comment sometimes and yes,OP, it gives me the rage. YANBU.

treaclesoda · 28/08/2017 20:54

I wouldn't say it myself but it's way down low on my list of comments that make me do these faces Confused Hmm

At least it's someone saying something nice to someone else, which seems fairly rare in the grand scheme of things.

StillDrivingMeBonkers · 28/08/2017 20:55

Is it Type Like An Owl Day or something?

Pigface1 · 28/08/2017 21:16

I've only ever seen 'swit-swoo'. But agreed, it gives me the rage.

Guavaf1sh · 28/08/2017 21:28

This trend hasn't penetrated my social group yet and this is the first I've heard of it

YokoReturns · 28/08/2017 21:38

It's a middle class version of 'arrrr ya look gawjuss hun': 'swit-swoo lovely lady'.

sparechange · 28/08/2017 21:40

I only very recently found out this meant a wolf whistle and not something to do with owls Confused

Grin I'd never thought of it like that before but now that you mention it...

Ninjakittysmells · 28/08/2017 21:53

Oh god, I think I've typed that exact phrase about an hour ago Yoko

I'll stop, I'm sorry Grin

JessieMcJessie · 28/08/2017 21:54

What on earth does it mean?

Voyager1 · 28/08/2017 22:02

Jessie it's meant to resemble a wolf-whistle.

About as through-gritted-teeth a compliment can get if you ask me!!

Yuck. Wolf whistles are disgusting old-school sexist noises.
