I have just been sat on a bus and witnessed a young woman have her phone snatched from out of her hand by a pair of moped thieves riding pillion. They almost knocked her over and then pulled at her hair to get the phone and she screamed. Some people went to her aid but the moped thieves sped off.
What the hell is going on with this epidemic? I know the situation is bad as the council has recently spray painted warnings all over the local pavement to beware of phone thieves on bikes but I thought it was more of a central London thing, not quiet suburb. Absolutely shocking and doesn't seem like the police have the power/will to do what is necessary as these shits just take their helmets off and are untouchable.
I suppose my AIBU is to think that something needs to be done urgently before a member of the public is killed by these menaces
