Someone close to me has an addiction to Solpadeine Max. He has decided to slowly come off it now after taking on average 6 doses a day for the last 7 years. Yesterday and today he has had 2 a day, which is a big step for him.
He isn't feeling his best right now of course.
To support him I did some research online and came across a forum dedicated to solpadeine addiction. I am shocked at how many people are addicted to it.
AIBU to think a drug like this should be on prescription only?
I know the pharmacy warns about addiction when you buy it, but of course an addict won't use the same pharmacy all the time.
