To ask what's your most embarrassing moment?

I'm bored, tired due to lack of sleep and could do with something to put a smile on my face..
Here's mine...
So I was on a bus once wearing stupid stiletto heeled boots and it had been raining outside. I sat at the front of the bus so we're no seats in front of me. The driver pushed his foot in the break really suddenly and hard and because my boots were slippery and wet they wouldn't grip the floor and I slipped straight off my seat onto my arse on the floor! 🙈
I tried so hard to not make eye contact with the other passengers behind me but what made it worse was the driver coming out of his cubicle and popping his head round and stared at me like he's just seen a ghost.

It was and I was nowhere near my stop either lol

I burnt my face one because I rested it on the red hot metal counter in the chippy... you know, the one that has a sign on it saying 'caution. Hot!' The chippy was really busy as well. The lady behind the counter was shouting at me for being stupid and I was clutching a can of coke to my chin. Not cool

Mine was years ago on a flight going on hols and I'd taken my slip on shoes off whilst sat down needed the loo so got up slipped my shoes on fell back down on the seat that's not the embarrassing thing I got back up walked to the loo it was only when I looked down I had sticky out feet well my shoes were they were on the wrong foot I was mortified I had to cross my feet over whilst waiting in a queue to use the loo
I did have a good laugh about it in the end and still do from time to time but I've never ever taken my shoes off ever again lesson learnt and worse I can't even blame drink

My DP's family were having a family bbq, parents, brothers, cousins, grandparents etc were all there.
Me and DP had been together for a month at this point.
I started drinking prosecco with his aunt and nan (11 bottles between us so you can imagine how fucked i was), i proclaimed very loudly and to everyone that was there of how much i loved DP and when we have a baby we're calling it Noah . I also fell asleep and vomitted in his aunts toilet.
Luckily they found it funny and still like me 😂😂

When I was 9 and at school one day, I sneezed. A large, gooey, bloody bogey flew out my nose and landed on the open work book of the boy opposite. I was teased for three years.

@Dreams16 that reminds me of the time I picked my DS up from preschool in my PINK FLUFFY SLIPPERS!!!! 😂😂🙈 I didn't realise I was still wearing them until halfway driving there when I noticed my feet felt a little too comfy for shoes lol

My all time most embarrassing moment was when I was in an army barracks promoting life cover. We had a little table set up Union Jack flag on the table, leaflets, pens and sweets that kind of thing. Well lunch time comes and the place is full of soldiers around 250/300 of them and what do I do trip up fall flat on my face managed to grab the flag and pull everything off the table the large stand we have with the companies name falls makes the lifestyle noise so everyone turns round and there's me on the floor. Did any of my colleagues help me? No they was too busy pissing them selfs laughing they couldn't even move for laughing. I never lived that down. ☺️

My school organised a class trip to France which happened to coincide with my 12th birthday.

On the night of my birthday we were in a restaurant and the French happy birthday begun to play really loudly. The waiters came marching in with a big massive birthday cake with sparklers.

I was so excited and everyone was staring at me. I was delighted...

Until the waiters walked straight past me and put the cake down in front of a little French boy at the next table.

I hate that story it still makes me cringe. I was mortified I cried in my room for the rest of the night.

I was at work (nurse, so in uniform) t
alking to one of the new (male) doctors. A pair of black lacy knickers fell down the arm of my dress and onto the floor. I just picked them up and shoved them in my pocket... I like to think nonchalantly but I still cringe when I remember it! Now I shake things thoroughly when I empty the tumble drier!

Probably at school once when I didn't have my PE kit and had to do the lesson in my bra and pants

Oh that French birthday cake story is so sad!

And for me that's the very definition of embarrassment, when you have a certain grasp of a situation and then it blows up in your face. Like a glove being turned inside out.

Oh, I can just imagine the little face all lit up in expectation....and then cold cold shame.

This was a few years ago now.
I used to walk to work and part of the route was along a really busy main road with a primary and a secondary school on it. I walked the same route each day so saw the same kids going in to school every day. Anyway one morning I was walking along, i had just got passed the secondary school and a car pulled over and wound down their window, I thought they were going to ask directions. In fact the driver informed me that my dress had somehow got caught in the back of my coat and I had been walking along showing off my knickers to the world they had driven past and then came back to stop and tell me.

It was awful I've never actually told anyone that story irl. I didn't even tell my parents when I came home no one knows about it other than the people who were there...and whoever they told because they all thought it was hilarious

Mostembarrassingbirthdayever I think it's unfortunate it happened to you but as a general story it is rather funny, like something you'd see on a comedy show. Sorry though

French cake very sad.

I can't imagine anyone finding that funny even in a "comedy show" but hey ho

Went to London zoo for the day with the kids. One of them only being about 2 (still small enough for the buggy).

(We live about an hour from London so had to travel down that morning) It was a nice sunny day as we left. We all wore summer clothes, including flip flops. As we got to London, we then had to get the underground, a few busses, etc so had to walk a bit before we got there too.

Problem now begins... we thought we would stop off at McDonald's for lunch before.

As we came out, it began to rain. Heavily.

The 2 year old wasn't in the pram and chose to walk holding it next to me instead. I also had other kids with me too.

Flip flops aren't good for walking around in the rain. They broke. I slipped over on the high street. The buggy fell on top of me, including the shit loads of bags, and the little girl (who was fine). Everyone around carried on walking and ignored.

It gets worse.

As I got up, 1 foot shoeless, and shoved everything on the pram, a wheel fell off. The pram was now a tricycle so I had to balance everything out even more. Also holding the pram instead of pushing it until we got there.

I looked like a dick.

We managed to get to the zoo in the end.
It wasn't enjoyable.

The kids have never forgotten it and are still embarrassed now. Was a nightmare getting home. Safe to saw we haven't done anything like that for a while.

I got my head wedged in park railings and the fire service had to be called to get me free.

@MrsDc7 yep, only adult there. Definitely checking weather and bringing another adult from now on haha. I laugh now but it was so embarrassing.

The curved automatic toilet door in the train ipening to reveal me sitting on the toilet with my trousers and knuckers down mid wee. Couldnt reach the controls so had to finish wee and try to get out of the toilet without making eye contact with the nearby passengers.
I never go to the toilet on a train now
