D & V bug

Ok I know IABU posting here but need quick answers .
My DS started with the dreaded D&V bug last night so his bed is covered so any advice of the best way to clean pillows and mattress please . As easy as possible as I've had about three hours sleep and dreading a deep clean .

Zoofloria in a spray bottle maybe. It will clean and also get he smell out. You can also use it in your washing machine (thanks for that tip mumsnet)
Drying might be a pain though if you have the weather that we have in the north this morning

Oh no - poor you op and your poor ds!

Difficult without mattress and pillow covers but personally I would try either diluted Dettol or a paste of bicarbonate of soda and water to get out stains and smells (and in the latter case) use diluted Dettol afterwards. Put outside if possible to bleach and dry properly in sunshine. You might need to invest in new pillows and mattresses though if it doesn't work. Good luck! I hope your ds feels much better soon! (And remember to Dettol door handles, loo handles, sink taps etc to avoid the rest of the family going down with it!)

No chance of getting them outside but will spray them and hairdryer if it's not dry by bedtime . Will send DP for new pillows after work
