To ask the sturdy-thighed where to buy work trousers?

My old faithfuls from Next are now so old that they are just shameful, but I can't find a single pair that suit me! They all make my sturdy thighs look even sturdier and my arse look the size of a continent.

Can anyone recommend any smart and flattering trousers please?

Would love to have an answer for you I'm but I'm watching with interest! I usually just stick to skirts at work as I can't find any trousers that flatter my thighs and bum.

I struggle with bog standard work trousers too, they're either too tight in the thigh or too big on the waist.

The best I ever had were a pair my mum gave me from Wallis so might be worth a try.

M&S wide leg with turn up. I've got them in black, grey and navy they're so good. About £45-50 a pair and so worth price per wear. I'm sturdy of thigh but small of hip so may not suit but they are my staple work wardrobe with wedges or brogues ( shorter length).

I buy mine from matalan, the curve range. Very comfortable and only 16 per pair.

I wish I knew. I'm slim but blessed with athletic thighs, no hips or bum so not pear shaped. Currently wearing some stretchy trousers from primark.

I've never shopped in M&S before though I've looked at the stuff on the way though to the supermarket! Looks pretty good quality so I'll have to go have a look!

Monsoon. Next don't fit me properly, so they may not be the right shape for you, but they are generous of thigh and arse.
