Evening all. Posting for traffic here to ask what people's experiences are with property guardianship (in London).
I currently live by myself in a little flat on the coast and commute into London which to be honest, I'm starting to find really draining (2hrs each way).
Plus, I've been offered a promotion at work and I think they'll be a bit less sympathetic to lateness excuses regarding train problems in the new role.
So, my plan has been to enjoy the summer by the sea and in the Autumn, move back to London. Have found a beautiful flat for an extremely good price with a property guardianship agency which I will be going to view on Saturday. I have no experience of this set up (nor do friends) and my first impression is that it sounds a little too good to be true! Low rent, great looking flat and location, no council tax or water, rolling monthly contract for 'usually 2-3 years' rather than short term.
Does anyone have any experience of this, good or bad? I'd really appreciate the input! Not sure whether I can name the agency :-s
Thanks.
