to ask about the MN scarf?

So, I know the MN scarf is a leopard print scarf.

But is any leopard print scarf a MN scarf? Or is there a very particular type or brand of leopard print scarf that makes it a MN scarf?

I was freezing on my way into work this morning so picked up a leopard print scarf from H&M because it was £2 in the sale. I thought it was a bit MN-scarfy but basically fine. But then a woman smiled at me and her eyes were saying "You're definitely a MNer in your MN scarf".

I think the mumsnet scarf is over. Non? Not seen it mentioned for ages.

But AFAICR it was a specific one from eBay.

I might just be being over-sensitive but I'm at an awkward age (early 30s) where I'm trapped between shops and styles.

I end up either looking like I've borrowed my clothes from a 13 year old or a 60 year old and I'm keen to avoid the "mumsy" look which I'm spectacularly failing at.

It was a specific scarf that loads of people bought when it was linked to on here. And then mentioned on the "what I'm wearing today" threads. But it was a fair old while ago.
