Not to know the difference if there is one between a pocket dictionary and a mini dictionary? My DD starts secondary school and it's on the list 😬 can anyone help?

Now, if you only had some sort of book in which to look up definitions, then that would tell you

geekone · 20/08/2017 22:20

Just type it in to Amazon it won't matter and you will have the right book Smile

Doris Grin. I suppose the answer is whether it fits in a pocket or not.

DesignedForLife · 20/08/2017 22:21

one fits in your pocket and the other doesn't. But you need big pockets.

PelvicFloorClenchReminder · 20/08/2017 22:26

I would opt for one that is encapsulated within one volume rather than 20, and can be comfortably carried without causing injury.

hmmwhatatodo · 20/08/2017 22:28

The answer is : It doesn't matter. They never use any of the dictionaries you buy them anyway (or lots of the other things on the list).

It turns out pocket dictionaries are bigger than mini dictionaries, which is weird, because it would be impossible to fit a mini in your pocket.

Is she allowed to use her phone? That would be all she needs...
