beetle or cockroach?? photo.

I've tried to google this but I'm can't work it out.

I found this tonight on my kitchen floor.
Please tell me it is not a cockroach.

Looks like a beetle to me.

Not an expert, but it doesn't look like a cockroach to me particularly. How big is it though?

about 1cm long. I think it would have longer antennae if it was a cockroach. But on google, it did look look like an oriental cockroach.
