She was a lovely woman, and the mother of a little girl iirc.

I'm so sad to hear this her posts were always amusing , I especially remember the one about her neighbour falling asleep drunk in the garden and she was still there in the middle of the night.

It's funny how there are some peeps on here you feel you know even though you don't really and she was one of them.

I didn't know her irl, but have known her for years on MN. I was also genuinely shocked and saddened by this, OP

Cat taught us about the hooded monks in the woods when she was stuck in a tent...goodness she made me laugh so much that evening.

I've been taken aback by how saddened I am by the passing of someone I don't really know.

Absolutely devastating. Thoughts are with her family & friends.

I felt genuinely shocked yesterday when I saw the post in chat and wondered if I had missed something about her being sick.

It's just very sad.

Definitely need a compilation, a lot were probably in chat unfortunately. She had some brilliant threads. Very entertaining poster and will be greatly missed on here.
