Aibu to want another baby?!

I have two girls (nearly 5 and nearly 2) with my DH. We are both young and I would love another baby, I can't imagine not having any more children. BUT DH thinks this is a crazy idea.. he keeeps talking about how much more money we will have when our youngest gets free childcare. We aren't doing too badly now.. two new(ish) cars, we own our 3 bed home, go on two holidays a year. Yes our girls would have to share a room, we would have childcare costs again, we would need a car that can fit 3 seats in the back.. but I still don't feel that I'm done.

Any advice ladies?? AIBU wanting another baby?

You are not BU wanting another but your DH is also not BU not wanting another!

Yanbu to want another dc but you are a team

There are pros and cons to having more children
I have 2 and the idea of 3 makes me shudder, but I'm not you
I feel that mine are out of nappies and I just don't want to go there again

Has dp said anything else about why he doesn't want to apart from finance?

How do you know you feel done if you have another?

You could end up with 3. Still feel the same and your dh resenring having a third if you push him into having another.

Neither of you are unreasonable. But i dont get how people know the feel of 'done' will be there if they have just one more.

We has two, never felt done. Dithered for years, had DS3 and knew I was done. Absolutely knew it.

I love my gang of 3. Similar age gap as yours. DH didn't want kids at all before we married but he is the most adored man in the world now Grin

I'd gladly have had 4 but it wasn't meant to be.

YANBU

Thanks girls. My hubby loves our girls and he only claims financial reasons for not having another. My girls would love to add another one to the mix. I'm hoping he may come around to the idea.. don't want to leave it too long.

Do you work? If yes, make more money and maybe he'll warm up to the idea.
