For not having moved all day?

28 weeks pregnant, on summer holidays from school and had such grand plans for going to the gym or getting groceries in.

I've just laid on the sofa all day. I will have to have beans on toast for dinner as there's nothing else in the house.

Should I hang my head in shame?

Not at all. Sometimes you need a lazy day to bring back some energy. You've got a better excuse than many with the pregnancy!

No! Hold your head high in pride. You're at the golden point in pregnancy, past the anomaly scan, but not so big you're struggling to move about!

Make the most of every second and enjoy it! Do nothing, eat whatever you fancy, sleep as much as you want.

bliss. i was 28 weeks pregnant about 6 months ago and did very little, for all the weeks, no shame - believe me you will make up for it. now i really want some of those beans with the little sausages but don't have any and popping out to the supermarket just isn't what it used to be 😐

I am 21 weeks and planned to do exactly that today but instead got stupidly busy and hardly sat down.
Tomorrow I will have a sofa day!!

Your comments have made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside and completely vindicated. I'll now admit that I've also stayed in my pyjamas and have some McVities digestive thins in the fridge for 'afters.'
