Booked DS onto the summer school run by his swim school; he's booked in for 4 consecutive days, today was the first day.
When we first booked we were given a 10.30am time slot, but a few days later, I received a call asking if we were able to move into the 10am slot as 'there are more children in that session of his age and ability'. We arrived this morning, DS was the only child in that session. The children arrived for the 10.30 session and were waiting at the edge of the pool as our session was finishing, and all looked to be around the same age as DS, there were only 5 of them, the maximum class size is 10.
Am I being paranoid/unreasonable to wonder if we've been put there away from the other children
? Brief bit of background, DS is going through a phase of being a bit clingy in the water, but this is normal for his age and several others in his regular class are going through the same phase. Tempted to ring the office and see if there's an issue/offer to swap to another time slot so they don't have to run a session just for us. Is it wanky to ring the office?
