To be completely peed of with Tesco Direct?

After lot of hassle with faulty website, ordered dd a "drop n roar dinosaur" from above.

Was phoned on day of delivery to be told it was one day late. Nor did it arrive the next day (forgotten to put on van apparently, found out after waiting 35 mins on hold)

It arrived and doesn't work. Neither roars or lights up. No exchnge documentation. Phone crappy helpline, answered after 15 mins on hold. None in stock for refund. No idea when will be available. Told to PHONE CRAPPY HELPLINE again to find out.(How long on hold this time........?)AND presumably when item does arrive have to pay postage again.

How shit is that? Surely an exchange isn't rocket science....or apperently it is!

Have sent furious email, and am currently sitting on one useless toy

I only ordered Tesco Direct once never again! bloody useless, My shopping was late too then when it did turn up it was totally wrong it didn't come until sunday afternoon and the shops were shutting in 10 mins, no local shops Grrrrr Never Never again....

They are truly crap.

I am still kicking myself for phoning them up to get my dishwasher plumbed in (which should have been done as part of delivery). It was only when I rang them they realised I hadn't paid, otherwise I would have had a free dishwasher!
My friend got a free washing machine off them last year. Quite kind of them really....

tesco are the devil - don't shop with them! if this is how bad they are now, carry on supporting them, they'll expand and get even worse, except the prices will get higher. 'every little penny counts'. yeah right.

Friend ordered and paid for washing machine which was delivered as promised. Then she got a letter a week later informing her they were no longer stocking the machine and had refunded her the money to her account!! Despite the fact it was whirring away in her kitchen.

They took 6 weeks to take my payment off me for my washing machine. I thought I'd got away with it!

I got the bike with no pedals, I rang and the 0845 number got the answer machine thingy said they were too busy to take my call which pissed me off right away, so emailed politely saying I had a bike with no pedals and HELP!!!!!!!!! and they have said they will return it or reinburse me for the cost of the parts.
Well, the bike was 34.99 4.99 postage and ive asked for 7.50 for the pedals.
Awaiting response!
