I know I'm being unreasonable

I've name changed because I know I'm being a dick but just wanna get this out
I'm scared of vomit, I know there are lots of people on here who have the same phobia
My husband drunk a bottle of wine and 3 of those already mixed cans like vodka and coke things last night. This morning he woke up with a terrible headache and felt very nauseous, drank some milk and then had to be a little sick. It's a hangover right?? I'm terrified me and dd's are going to come down with something!
I know logically that it is a hangover as he slept, has eaten and now feels ok, just a bit spacey. Although he doesn't drink all the time, he has had this amount before and not had this reaction so that's why I'm worried!
I can't talk to anyone else about this as I don't want dd's to pick up on my phobia and I know I'm being ridiculous! I am, right?

Yes, don't worry. He is hungover to high heaven. X

magicstar1 · 12/08/2017 15:23

Yeah he's hungover, and sick because he mixed his drinks. It won't be anything contagious

dollydaydream114 · 12/08/2017 16:31

Definitely a hangover.

I sympathise by the way, as I have a similar terror of vomit and sickness bugs and am currently obsessed with norovirus which for some reason I am more scared of than any other bug.

Drinking milk when you're hung over is literally the dumbest thing he could have done. No wonder he threw up.

imbeingadick · 12/08/2017 16:56

But he always has milk after getting drunk!
It's just the fact that he hasn't had this reaction before, well for a long time anyway!!

Of course he's hungover, there's nothing you can catch

BillBrysonsBeard · 12/08/2017 18:16

Definitely hungover, he mixed the grain with the grape.

winefixeswhine · 12/08/2017 18:29

Hypnotherapy!

CremeFresh · 12/08/2017 18:32

You can't catch 'hangover' so I wouldn't worry about it being contagious. Has your DD ever been sick ? Can you cope ok with her? Maybe get a bit of therapy to help you with this. I'm rubbish with vomit but deal with it if pushed!

ImperialBlether · 12/08/2017 18:33

Each of those cans is a double, so he's had about 14 or 15 units.

It's a hangover.

Booboobooboo84 · 12/08/2017 18:48

He's hanging like a bitch. Send him to bed you'll be fine
