Some websites say it is to aid women with breast milk production but on the pack I bought from Holland and barratt it says not to take if you're breast feeding!!
They're to help me with horrendous PMT where I feel like an angry psyco with my poor husband.
Please tell me they're safe so my husband won't leave me I can return to sanity!

You really need to ask a pharmacist about this.

Some real science on it: www.drugs.com/breastfeeding/chasteberry.html

Everything in Holland and Barrett says not to take while pregnant or breastfeeding, so they can't get sued. It has been used in medical studies for lactating women to see if it increases milk supply, so in order to get ethical approval for that the risk has been evaluated as miniscule. It's commonly used as a galactagogue and has been for thousands of years.
