Put the bastard heating on!

I'm a total facist with the heating and I'm strict with in the winter - we have windows open most of the year...

Another day of all day torrential rain and even DD is complaining about how cold it is (rare for her) so have put the heating on ....in august......

I didn't book a holiday abroad as I thought it would be too hot - I am a FOOL!

I've been out today in a jumper for crying out loud!

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 08/08/2017 14:22

It's ruddy Cold here in Reading.
I never whine at the weather but I'm feeling grumbly today
My kids are both back in the big fuzzy onesies and I'm sat under a blanket

MumIsRunningAMarathon · 08/08/2017 14:23

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 08/08/2017 14:23

And my light are on because it's so gloomy

JustMeeAgain · 08/08/2017 14:24

I'm jealous. Tried to put mine on and the boiler is acting up, currently waiting for an engineer to come out and fix it hopefully!

I want to put our heating on, but DP is home today and he will moan so I'm sat with 3 layers on Angry

kel1234 · 08/08/2017 14:53

I've been tempted to put it on a few times. It's meant to be hot sun and cold drinks outside isn't it? Instead it's raining and miserable, and not very warm at all. Good old British weather.. Wonders how long it would take to save for a holiday, and with or without ds?

ElChan03 · 08/08/2017 14:56

Excuse for blankets and movies cuddled up on the sofa. Hot water bottles etc... I am a heating Nazi wouldn't dream of putting it on before October. Lol

Well to be fair it probably would due to the heatwave on the continent. I'd rather have cold drizzle than 37℃ though, I hate hot weather above about 22℃.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 08/08/2017 15:05

There is a Pikachu and a minion upstairs playing minecraft in my house. There's a Cheshire Cat somewhere about reading a book. They've all resorted to fleecy things this week and I can't blame them.

I've just made yet another cup of tea, more for the handheld heat than the drink.

hiphopcat · 08/08/2017 15:06

Yep it went on for half an hour yesterday.

The temp was 9 degrees C. Fuck that.
