I'd be frying it off with chicken so at a reasonably high heat.
Would you even consider it? Obviously I'll do the sniff test first...

I cant imagine basil, cheese and garlic making you that ill if you eat it and its off.. go for it :-)

I ate a pan melt from 2015 last week without a second thought so wouldn't even have a vague notion not to eat your one!

I've checked the ingredients and it does list cream but I'm guessing it's so processed as to not really cause the same concern you'd have with normal dairy products?
