To want everyone to speech bubble

Had a thought. On holidays at the moment and while sitting at the pool, have been people watching. Mums everywhere, pulling in stomachs, wearing tummy covering swim tops. A general air of "dislike my body".
Imagine if we could see people's thoughts from speech bubbles above their head. Obviously only the 'nice thoughts'
Lovely swimsuit, great legs, wish I had your hair, great boobs etc.
AIBU or has the Spanish wine taken over?

This would be awesome but I'd be worried my partners would work too HAHA. However I would get sweet payback looking at all the waiters so we'd be even GrinWine hope you're having a great time ? Xx

Imagine hopefully looking around only to see empty bubbles and people averting their gazes...

Thank you Jen. Fabulous rare afternoon to myself Grin

I would at times myself Euphemia but today I'm feeling particularly Zen would love that one woman who I can see who looks so self conscious I actually feel sorry for her, that she's fabulous. She's hiding her stretch marks and trying to make herself invisible.

I for one like my body but it's still weird to me to be sitting around in basically my underwear as I hardly wear a swimsuit.

Let's face it, the only bodies that jump out at you are at either end of the, erm, fitness scale.

I love this idea, obviously only if we can see the nice thoughts. Maybe DC or marvel could invent a new superhero "complimentary gal" she sees others compliments and passes them on.
I'm off on holiday in a few weeks, still worried what others will think of my flabby size 14 body bikini body, I'm taking my bikinis.

JenNtonic · 07/08/2017 21:03

Nanny red I love that xx

PhilTheSahd · 07/08/2017 21:21

Op why not give self-conscious looking lady a compliment (if you can think of one that doesn't sound creepy from a stranger)? Surely lady to lady it's fine isn't it??

Sandbrook · 08/08/2017 12:20

Philthesahd, it would sound weird wouldn't it?
"Excuse me stranger you've got great legs"
I might get kicked out of hotel!

Mannered that's perfect, Complimentary girl. They need to get on that.
Also i would like a traffic light talk button. A light above your head goes green if you would like to engage in pool side chit chat or red if you'd like to be left alone with your thriller.

I'm somewhere where the opposite is true. Every body is out, including mine, and there are very few tankini tops or swimsuits. It's really nice. In fact the tankini I brought in case of feeling grim still has the tags on.
