Yes from bbc good food website. You need to gently fry onion sliced for five mins add garlic and gently fry add tomato puree add tomatoes. I use fresh but I guess you could use tinned as well. Cook tomatoes until pulpy. Add some fish stock and some white wine and simmer this off. Usually also put in sprigs of thyme. Then reduce heat to simmer add chunks of fish to cook. I also put in some prawns for a few mins st end. Serve with garlic ciabatta bread.

I made a fish stew at the weekend, pretty much off the top of my head. It was very nice. Here's what i did as best i can remember:

Heat a dash of olive oil in a pan on a mefium heat and add a large finely chooped onion and crushed garlic until the onion has softened.
Add 3 tins of chopped tomatoes, 2 or 3 stalks of coarsely chopped celery, about 250g of chopped new potatoes and a couple of large chopped carrots, salt, ground black pepper, plenty of basil, oregano and a teaspoon of paprika. Add some pasta - i used linguine broken up into 1" pieces. Simmer on a medium-low heat for 15-20 mins.
Add 3 or 4 fillets of cod chopped to chunks for about 10 minutes. Remove from heat and add a cup or 2 of cooked peeled prawns, stand for 5 mins.
Garnish with oodles of freshly grated parmesan and serve with bread.

That made enough to feed 4 very hungry adults.

Oh, forgot. There was a tin of butter beans thrown in as well.

do you like seafood chowder? google monks seafood chowder, its honestly the best thing ive ever had!

what kind of fish?

Some are god in chowders? Some best after 7 mins under a hot grill.

I'd either make a stew or grilled fish as well as a nice dressing (with mashed spuds)
