Chronically ill but currently have a flare and absolutely exhausted. Have two dc (4&1) - both who barely slept last night, DS1 woken due to ds2 teething.
I feel absolutely shit and would quite happily just go and sleep for a few hours wishful thinking.
Both won't stay still to watch a film so I think I'll have to put some bug girl pants on and woman up.
But today - I could quite happily not have Dc. How awful is that ConfusedBlush

Not awful at all!
I also have a 4+1 year old and the little one was up half the night too.
They are currently trashing the living room while watching Mr Tumble while I drink coffee curled up on the sofa.
Hope the day isn't too bad OP!

Anyone who can have them for a few hours to let you rest? Is their Dad about?

Bubblegumfan · 05/08/2017 09:26

Hand hold. I get it. Just do what you gotta do to survive today, easy junk food, stay in jamas, let the tele babysit. X

Fresh air and exercise this morning, easy lunch, baby sleep and 4 yr old makes a den (and might sleep in it!), you lie on sofa!

Think all mums want a day off (especially when poorly!!). Hope you have an ok day and take it easy on yourself ccc

Bought some pop up toys from argos yesterday that I forgot were getting delivered today so that's keeping them occupied a bit and trashing the place . DP working 6am-6pm plus walks there and back (3 miles away) so won't be home until they are in bed - and I will be!
