Feeling angry here.
Me and my family have contributed to a cause to get a young man repatriated to his home town.
He's in a coma and he chances are he will not survive.
The mont to repatriate him has been raised in three days but the money is not released for three weeks, according to jg's terms and conditions.
This young man may not have 3 weeks and could pass away before his mum can see him again.

There must be better agencies who can hold the money without hanging onto it.

Family are desperate.

Awful situation. I don't think there's any way around it if t and cs are clear.

I can understand them wanting a fee...but why not release the money?

Is his mother unable to get to him?

Have they tried asking JG to make an exception?

If not I'd say your best bet is to get the press onto it - local paper/radio at first or straight to the nationals. That should do the trick.

Presumably they earn interest off the money and that is the business model. If that amp BT could be drawn from the money (perhaps as an early release fee) then they can get their hands on the money early. Not great model if they are raising money for ppl in need.

Yes they were aware of the t and c and just didn't expect to raise the amount in such a short amount of time.
