To think my friend has a cocklodger

My friend lives with a cocklodger. He moved in. He has a "consultancy" but is never at work. He wants her to remortgage her house to set him up in another business.

He won't let her tell him that she loves him. She said that he'd said that she should never fall in love with him.

I hate him. He is using her. She has been with him for 5- years but she won't listen to anyone. I know it's none of my business but I am angry on her behalf. He doesn't do any work around the house he doesn't pay any bills.

I can't tell her how I feel anymore, can I?

If you've already told her, then no. I'd do my hardest to talk her out of remortgaging though.

Do they have children together?

If she won't listen then you are wasting your breath!

It's very odd of him to expect someone to remortgage their house for him when they are not "allowed" to love him....

She has kids, he doesn't, no children together. She does love him, I know it, which is why it's sad.
