I thought of a way to improve the movie adaptation. It would be all about me (naturally).

In a plot twist EKL is my mammie and she isn't even Korean. She's actually Chinese and in a flashback EKL played by Lucy Liu is forcing me to sit on her knee in perfect silence so that I learn boundaries and respect.

EKL is a staunch feminist who moves to North Korea to continue her fight against oppressive regimes, in her absence I rebel and find myself on a path to wanton CFNery.
